포드차량은 점화플러그 부터 시작하여 점화코일 그리고 드물지만 인젝터등이 고장나면서 엔진컴퓨터(ECU, ECM) 을 고장내게 하는 경우가 매우 흔하다. 결론은 포드 자동차에는 꼭 순정 OEM 점화코일, 점화플러그 및 인젝터를 사용하자. 그래야 큰 돈 아끼고 엔진컴퓨터 교환, 점화코일 교환, 점화플러그 교환등 작업을 하지 않아도 된다. 특히 점화코일에 2개의 배선이 있는경우는 더욱더 꼭 순정 OEM 부품을 사용하기를 권장한다.
