Unlike Honda 8th generation Civic 1.8L, the alternator replacement in Civic 2.0 or SI is not easy and front radiator removal makes the job easy. You will need a 14mm offset wrench to release the tension.
Do not put your fingers between the belt and the pulley. Disconnect the battery terminals before working.
