3 hours training program is designed to help you do routine vehicle maintenance yourself, including engine oil replacement. Field practice program includes engine oil replacement.
The above photo is taken from a client inspecting and reinstalling spark plugs for the Honda Accord 8th generation. Spark plugs turned out to be in good shape, so reinstalled the same spark plugs.
How it works
- Service request from website, agree to program and timetable.
- Custom tailored training program provided to students.
- Replacement for student's engine oil.
- Costs for engine oil and other parts are NOT included.
Basic automotive knowledge (1 hour)
- Understanding of internal combustion engine & DIY 101.
- Electricity in general, car electricity, safety and tools.
- Torque wrench, sockets, rachets and other toolds.
- Routine maintenance including engine oil, power steering, etc.
Field practice and wrap up (~2 hours)
- Using student's car on lift, review routine maintenance points.
- Replace engine oil, oil filter and air filter.
- Wrap up session at the car garage.
- Car lift rental is included in the training fee.
Important notes
- Not all vehicles are supported for field practice.
- Training time slot may be adjusted depending upon garage schedule.
- Preparation of replacement parts are student's responsibility.
