How often should I change engine oil?

Engine oil change interval depends on your own vehicle. The best is to refer to your vehicle's Maintenance Schedule. Normally, car manufacturers recommend oil change in every 10,000km.

However, I prefer changing engine oil in every 5,000km or twice a year.

For engine oil filter and air filter, it would be best to change them every time engne oil change is done. Although, air filter and oil filter change interval of 10,000km~20,000km seems more realistic.

크러시 와셔도 꼭 함께 새로 교환하는것이 권장된다. 너무 재활용을 많이하면 드레인플러그에 눌어붙어, 추후 누유원인이 될 수 있기때문이다.

차를 평생가져가야 겠다고 생각하면 6개월 혹 5천키로에 합성유로, 물론 규격에 맞는 엔진오일로 교환하기를 추천합니다. 10,000km 혹 20,000km 교환 주기는 전문가의 세심한 상황판단하에 이루어져야 할 것입니다. 엔진계통, 특히 윤환 및 압력과 누유등에 영향을 줄 수 있습니다.
