Honda auto-tensioners have auto-tensioner indicator arrow mark (A). If this indicator mark is within the tolerance range (B) as shown in the drawing drive belt or serpentine belt does not need replacement. However, if the indicator arrow mark is out of the tolerance range, it is time to double check and replace the drive belt. Of course, you should check for any cracks and do visual inspection as well.

This auto-tensioner indicator is found in all Honda vehicles including Civic, Accord, Legend and more. Also, other car manufacturers have the same feature but with different indicator marks.
