바닥에 오일이 흘러서 젖어있고 엔진오일 딥스틱은 바닥입니다. 운행해도 될까요?

혼다 어코드 엔진오일 필터에 구멍이 뚤려서 엔진오일이 새고 있다. 고속주행중이면 상당한 위험한 경우이다. 순정 오일필터 사용과 손으로 꽉 조여주는 정도 토크이면 된다. 혼다의 경우 10~14Nm정도 토크가 권장된다.

엔진오일 누유출처 파악이 우선

엔진룸과 하체의 언더커버를 벗기고 누유출처를 먼저 찾아낸다. 갑자기 많이 흐르면 드레인플러그나 오일필터 소켓을 먼저 점검한다. 엔진룸이나 하체의 경우 꼭 커버를 탈거후에 누유여부를 판단한다. 필요시 세척후에 관찰한다.

엔진오일 누유이거나 소모이다

엔진오일 딥스틱을 뺴서 체크시에 오일이 없는경우는 누유이거나 소모이다. 먼저 육안검사가 필요하다.

엔진오일필터 탈거 조임

캉통형태의 경우 10~15Nm정도이면 어떠한 메이커의 차량에도 충분하다. 물론 특별히 정비 메뉴얼에 지정토크를 먼저 파악하는것이 중요하다. 그리고 손으로 힘주어서 돌려주는 정도이면 10~14Nm정도이다. 엔진오일 필터 탈거시에는 연장을 사용하더라도 조일때에는 그냥 손으로만 힘껏 조여준다.

오일누유는 위험

이 사례처럼 오일필터에 구멍이 생겨서 누유가 되면 운행중 매우 위험하다. 특히 고속중행에는 엔진데미지로 이어질수 있다.
