E85연료 (85% 에탄올15% 휘발유 비율)

한국에서는 찾아보기 힘들지만 미국등 직 수입차의 경우 드물게 이러한 현상이 발생할 수 있다. 기술적으로는 자동으로 연료내 에타놀 함유량을 산소센서가 자동으로 계산하여 보정을 하게 되어 있다. 간혹 그렇지 못 한경우가 있을 수 있다.

E85 연료분사량 상당한차이

일반적으로 인젝터 분사시간은 0.6ms ~ 1.7ms정도이다. 하지만 E85 (Flex Fuel)의 경우 보정이 되지않으면 50ms~ 150ms등까지도 늘어난다. 당연히 시동이 걸리지 않는다. 공기와 연료비율이 너무틀어져 시동자체가 불가능하다는 의미이다.

E85 함유량 진단기 확인 & 리셋

진단기에서 보면 E85 함유%가 표시된다. 사용하는 연료에 맞게 학습을 해 주어야 하고 필요시 리렛을 해 주어야 한다. 리셋은 배터리 분리만으로 되지않는다. 정비소에서 작업해야 한다.
