저압연료펌프와 연료레일 압력이 정상인지 파악하는 방법

이 방법은 대부분 차량에 다 해당된다. ECM이 원하는 연료레일 압력과 실제 압력차이가 없거나 미비한 경우에는 저압연료펌프 및 레일압력이 다 정상이라는 의미이다. Fuel Rail Pressure Desired(1520kPa) 와 Fuel Rail Pressure (1570kPa)의 차이가 거의 없다. 단순하지만 상당한 진단시간을 절약해준다. 예를들어 P0171 P0172 P0174 P0175등 고장코드 분석시에 꼭 필요한 점검항목이 바로 연료압력이다. 과학적이고 정확하면서 가장 빠른시간내에 진단이 가능하다.

1980년대 혹 90년대초반 차량의 경우에는 실제 연료압력 게이지를 사용하여 연료압력을 측정하여야 한다. 하지만 최근 차량은 대부분 진단기 데이터값 진단이 가능하다.
