MAF센서, 엔진으로 유입되는 공기무게측정 센서의 중요성

내연기관을 출력을 결정하는 결정적인 센서가 바로 MAF 센서이다. MAF센서는 Mass Air Flow 센서로 1초당 엔진으로 들어오는 공기무게를 측정하는 센서이다. 공기량에 맞추어 연료가 분사된다. 일부 스포츠카 혹 고성능 차량은 MAF가 없고 MAP 만 사용하는 경우도 있다. RPM영역별로 MAF 센서값이 비슷하게 오르락 내리락 하는경우 MAF센서가 정상 작동중이라고 진단 할 수 있다. 더 정확하게 진단을 하기위해서는 멀티미터. 오실로스코프로 WOT 테스팅 측정값을 분석할 수 있다.
