Should I reset throttle position sensor (TPS) after throttle body cleaning?

Should I reset throttle position sensor (TPS) after throttle body cleaning?, None|bekomcar.com

In general, the answer is yes. However, it really depends on each car and year. Please refer to your car's repair manual.

For example most Toyota vehicles do not require any reset of TPS, throttle position sensor. As you drive along the ECM, engine control module will quickly learn the new TPS.

However, Honda vehicles are different and you need to reset your TPS using the scanner supporting TPS reset.
