[Honda, PSF maintenance]
Flushing the power steering fluid (PSF)
Jack up the front of the vehicle. Disconnect the return hose and redirect to transparent 10mm diameter hose to the drain bucket. Turn steering lock to lock a few times, and then ensure you top off PSF before the minimum level. Repeat the process till you see the clean PSF fluid.
Just put the key to ON without starting the car. This will help you easily turn the steering wheel lock to lock, pushing out old power steering fluid. After a few times of lock to lock turning, pour power steering fluid to the maximum level. Do not let the level drop below the minimum. That could bring in air to the power steering system.
Repeat the process unitll the clean power steering fluid comes out of the power steering system. Keep the old fluid in the container and take it to your local recycle center or garage for recycling.
